My Inner Audrey Hepburn

Happy Memorial Day to everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying time with family and hopefully having some good barbeque. This weekend has been jam-packed with so many events. Most importantly, my sister's prom! I always say it, but I just can't believe how fast she's growing up. Pictures coming up before you ask:
Leila looking like a goddess next to my shortie momma.

The parentals and sis.

Leila and her date: really decent guy. Don't worry I grilled him and my Dad gave him the speech. Funnily, the same one he gave my date 9 years ago.

My sister and her friends at the pre-party.

But of course a picture of me with daddio.
Okay, okay. So excited about this one. Anybody ever seen Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn? One of my all time favorite movies. My mom always tells me I remind her of Audrey Hepburn. Any celebrity people say you resemble?

Anyways after seeing my sister off to prom, I met up with my best friend who was out of town for my graduation party for dinner at a Mexican joint El Gabacho. She surprised my with a little blue box tied with a white ribbon. You know what I'm talking about...my first ever Tiffany jewelry! A little silver horseshoe to bring me good luck for the new chapter I'll be beginning in my life! I LOVE YOU EMILY! Now I truly feel like Audrey :)
Today I started the morning with swamp oats. Or at least that's what it ends up looking like after adding a tsp of spirulina. Oats, coconut milk, blueberries, 1/2 a sliced banana, egg white, carob chips, and Greek yogurt.
Lunch was an avocado, goat cheese, and spicy veggie tempeh with basil and spinach on the side.
Snack: A new granola which I absolutely loved! Udi's gluten free original granola, 1/2 a sliced banana, and drowned with coconut milk.
I went to a little barbeque that my friend was throwing but didn't stay long because (1) I wasn't hungry and (2) it was freaking hot!

Dinner I was in the mood for something light: Oats, pumpkin, chopped dry figs, 1/2 a chopped red delicious apple, spinach, and Greek yogurt with a hard-boiled egg on the side.

Tonight's agenda is getting ready for my last week of work before school is out for the summer and watching me some Bachelorette. Yah for reality TV! I haven't decided which bachelor I like the most yet but I can definitely say it's a no for Craig the Creep.

Night all!
