Hola Amigas!

Que pasa chicas? What's going on? I hadn't realized how long it had been since I had blogged until I checked posts and noticed it had been ten days! I guess with all the craziness of school winding down, I've been caught up in work. On top of that I'm applying for new jobs (assistant principal anyone?) and giving my 30 day notice to my apartment complex. So I have to find a new place to stay too! And did I mention in another city? Yup, that's right! I'm trying to make my way back down to Austin. Boy, do I miss it! Have you lived somewhere before and would move back in a second given the chance?

In the meantime my meals have been pretty normal.
Breakfast: oats, 1/2 a sliced banana, blackberries, carob chips, spinach, and Greek yogurt.

Lunch was two toasted Ezekiel slices spread with Maranatha almond butter and my new Crofter's strawberry jam. I finally bought some at Whole Foods because they were on sale and I've read about them around the blogs. Delish! And served with zucchini fries.
Snack: Chobani with maple pecan granola.
My fave lately for dinner: Food for Life brown rice tortilla with pumpkin/barbeque sauce spread and baked with black beans, spinach, and cheddar rice shreds.
Busy weekend ahead and tonight is a Texas Hold 'Em and Blackjack tournament party. Here's me all glammed up ready to go out for the night. Excuse my sweaty, Texas face!
See, I can clean up pretty well! Everyone always asks me if I'm glowing because I'm in love and I tell them sadly no. It's just the 100 degree Texas heat that's making me sweat :)
Wish me luck playing with the big boys!!

Oh my gosh - you DO look absolutely gorgeous! And I must add that I'm VERY impressed you can hold your own in poker. I try but sadly....always fail!
